Since my business is
so different from every other bridal salon you might have encountered, I get a
lot of questions from, well just about everyone! So here is a list
of the most popular questions and information that you will find helpful...
1. Where do you get your dresses from?
I get dresses from everywhere. I have brokers and designers I work
with. I also frequently buy inventory from stores that are going out of
business. I consign only NEW dresses and get phone calls all the time about stock
available from every imaginable source. New stock is coming in almost
every day! Gowns come in and go out so fast sometimes I do not get them
on the website all the time..
2. Why are your dresses so cheap?
I like to say affordable, but I get the idea. I have a knack for finding
and procuring amazing dresses is one part, and then I keep my overhead low so I
can pass the savings to my brides. This is a family owned business and not a
chain store. Most of my dresses are between $299-699. I do have premium
dresses as well, up to around $1,100 and these dresses are still listed way
under the regular retail prices.
3. Do you buy dresses?
We do not buy dresses.
4. Can I have makeup on?
Very little please! If your makeup stains the dresses you will be
responsible for cleaning cost which runs about $50-80. These are the actual dresses what brides will take home and we
have no extra budget to get them cleaned.
5. Can I bring my
family, friends, fiancés and anyone else with me to help me choose?
Of course you can bring people with you, it's a special time and I realize
brides want people to share in the joy of the moment. Keep in mind that
the more people you bring the more "opinions" you will
get. Keep it simple, bring close people and try to keep your party down
to a minimum. I have a small shop but I can stack them deep if you bring
everyone you have ever known. Children are welcome, but please be mindful
of their whereabouts at all times. They need to be by your side and not playing
in the store, or underneath racks of dresses.
6. What should I wear to my appointment?
Please wear underwear! I know you might think this would be an obvious request,
but you would be surprised. I will not let you try on gowns without
underwear. You do not need a strapless bra when trying dresses on but if you
have one by all means bring it. You can wear your regular bra, since you
haven't chosen a dress yet, and it's difficult to know what kind of undergarments
to buy. Spanx is your friend, and if you have it wear it, don’t be
ashamed about it. You need to try on your dress exactly the way you will wear
it on your special day.
We ask all of our
brides and guest to take their shoes off to protect the dresses. We have socks
available for you if you don’t have any. (Honestly, it makes the shopping
experience more relaxing anyway!)
7. How long are your appointments?
I allow 1.5 hours for each appointment. Some take longer and some are over
quicker. I will book the time just for YOU! Please
make every effort to show up. If you cannot make your appointment, sometimes
that happens, please call or text me and let me know as soon as you know you
can't make it. When a bride does not show up for her appointment or is
late, she is taking time away from other brides who are trying to get in.
8. Do I need an appointment to come take a look around?
No. You can always drop by to take a look. If you are just looking
for a veil, petticoat or other accessories you can drop in at any time.
9. How many dresses do you have to choose from and what styles, sizes
and designers do you carry and do you order dresses?
At any given time I have about 650 dresses in stock! I also have about
200 veils, tiaras, headbands, brooches, hairpieces, bridal belts, sashes, and
gloves, etc… I always have 5 hoop and 3 hoop petticoats and a serious
collection of A Line petticoats! I carry all designers. Just about every
shape of dress, and my sizes are from 0 – 30.
10. What are the terms and conditions of your shop?
My dresses are ALL OFF THE RACK. WE DO NOT ORDER DRESSES!
take all credit or debit cards, checks and cash.
All sales are final.
(Every wedding store operates this way and I am no different.) No returns,
refunds, or exchanges. Deposits are not refundable.
Alterations are not
included in the price of a dress.
I do charge late fees
for each missed Layaway payment, and all Layaway payments and deposits are
non-refundable. A late charge of $25 will be added to your total for each late
occurrence. You have 5 days to pick up your dress after final payment. Beyond 5
days you will be charged a storage fee of $50 a week.
All items are sold as is. Not responsible for pins left in dress
by manufacturer or discoloring of fabric, sequences, beads over time. We are not responsible for size fit based on weight gain or
loss. We are not responsible for, or make any promises for any other
business including but not limited to alteration referrals. You agree to these
terms and conditions any time you make a purchase from Sundays Bridal whether
online or in the store.
11. The companies, product and service
names, all trademarks,
service marks, trade names, images, product names and logos appearing on the
site are the property of their respective owners, and solely used for
identification purposes only. Sundays

12. You can take all the pictures you want in
the store. We offer a very relaxed environment and try our best to have you
enjoy your time with us.
13. Dresses go fast in my shop, my prices can't
be beat and they come in and go out quickly. I understand if a bride
needs to think about it but keep in mind that it could be sold at any time and
once it's gone I usually can't get another one for a while. I do not hold
